When I was young I always wanted to be a Veterinarian and that is what I initially went to The Ohio State University to study. Pre-vet requires a major in chemistry, but the combination of struggling in chemistry and calculus and failing to get into the Columbus State Vet Tech program caused me to look inwards and ask myself what I want to do. So I got my associates degree from Columbus State Community College. In the process I rediscovered my passion for writing when taking a few creative writing classes. I then decided to go back to OSU to finish my bachelors degree in film studies with a specialization in screen writing. When I originally left OSU I had a 2.0 GPA and when I graduated I had a 2.4 GPA. I ended most semesters with a 3.0 or more GPA. I am proud of improving my grades so much in 2 years. I have always been one to learn from my mistakes. I always try to improve.
